Standard 7: Planning Instruction
A teacher must be able to plan and manage instruction based upon knowledge of subject matter, students, the community, and curriculum goals.
My interpretation: A teacher must be familiar with state standards and objectives in his subject matter. He must then create lessons that will effectively target those goals.

I produced a lesson plan on cell membrane transport for one of my methods courses. I also shared this lesson with the students at my field experience site. Below is the presentation that went along with this lesson.
